It's About Time

Bring history to life with It’s About Time — a creative, student-friendly research project that blends historical inquiry with imagination. In this 18-page guided activity pack, students become Time Travelers, choosing a historical era to explore, gathering essential facts, narrowing their research focus, and compiling their discoveries into a personalized Time Traveler’s Journal.

For upper grammar school or logic level (4th - 8th), this resource is designed to strengthen students' research skills, allow them the chance to bring a historical period to life, and encourage them to make meaningful connections across time periods. With a Teacher's Tip page as a guide,  the students will use structured worksheets and flexible journal templates to complete the project.  It’s About Time works well for whole-class projects, centers, homeschool students, independent study, or enrichment.

Whether they “visit” Ancient Egypt, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the Industrial Revolution, or any other historical setting, students will practice analyzing facts, organizing information, and writing from a historical perspective, all while having fun bringing history to life!
